About The Position

CarDon and Associates is seeking Qualified Medication Aides to support residents at Morristown Manor. The QMA helps ensure medications are administered safely and effectively by managing medication schedules and giving residents their prescribed medications on time. The role also includes monitoring residents for side effects or adverse reactions and sharing relevant observations with nursing staff. Through daily interaction with residents, the QMA helps foster a supportive, caring environment and contributes to residents’ health, well-being, and quality of life. Requirements

Current certification as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) in the state of Indiana.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of pharmacology and medication management.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and facility policies.
Monitor residents for medication side effects or adverse reactions and report findings to nursing staff.
Maintain accurate medication administration records and comply with regulatory requirements.
Assist in developing and implementing individualized resident care plans.
Provide residents and their families with education and support regarding medication management.
