About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to work in its Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) in Chico, California. The QIDP develops progress notes, assessments, and evaluations required by regulations and trains and mentors the support team. The position is scheduled for second shift, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., with weekends; weekend flexibility is a plus. Pay is up to $30.47 per hour.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in psychology, human services, sociology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• 2 years of experience in a leadership or management capacity.
• Ability to oversee caseloads and manage localized case file compliance at the Chico sites.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Merakey team to create and implement Individual Service Plans.
• Conduct training related to Individual Service Plans for consumers and Direct Support Professionals.
• Work within multidisciplinary settings with physicians, nurses, direct support staff, and others.
• Communicate on an ongoing basis with the Regional Center liaison or case worker regarding the consumer’s status.
• Develop progress notes, assessments, and evaluations required by regulations.
• Train and mentor the support team.
• Oversee caseloads and manage localized case file compliance at the Chico sites.
