We are seeking a Quadient Workflow Engineer with strong experience developing and supporting complex workflow automation solutions within Quadient Inspire. This role is focused on workflow development, business rule implementation, metadata processing, enterprise integrations, and high-volume document processing environments. This is not primarily a template development role. While template development experience is a plus, the primary responsibility is designing and implementing workflow logic, automation, integrations, and document processing solutions. You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Quadient Inspire including Inspire Designer, Inspire Interactive, and Inspire Scaler
  • 3+ years of professional experience delivering technology-enabled business improvements that enhance operational performance, efficiency, compliance readiness, or stakeholder experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience developing, deploying, and maintaining web APIs or RESTful services in a production environment using technologies such as FastAPI, Flask, ASP.NET Web API, Spring Boot, Node.js, or similar frameworks
  • Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, testing, production support coding, design, and analysis
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, Web Services, and Other Technologies

  • Experience with Workflow Services (WFS)
  • Azure cloud experience
  • Experience integrating with BlueCrest print and mail solutions
  • Experience with SQL and Python
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms
  • Experience developing Quadient templates and document layouts

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex Quadient Workflow Designer (WFD) solutions.
  • Implement workflow automation, business rules, routing logic, batching, and metadata-driven processing.
  • Develop reusable workflow components and utilities.
  • Build integrations using REST APIs, XML, JSON, CSV, AFP, and PDF data formats.
  • Integrate Quadient solutions with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and print/mail production systems.
  • Support high-volume batch processing and document fulfillment workflows.
  • Troubleshoot workflow, data processing, and production issues.
  • Optimize workflow performance, scalability, and reliability.
