About The Position

Marshall Land Systems requires a QMS Specialist in Moncton, NB to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, the QMS Specialist will support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO9001 requirements, including audits, management reviews, documentation control, and continuous improvement of quality processes.

Requirements

  • Post secondary education in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in QMS / quality assurance roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in an ISO9001 certified facility.
  • Experience conducting internal audits; Lead Auditor is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of QMS requirements, document control and audit processes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems; experience with IFS is an asset.
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian government security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO9001 requirements and the organization’s standards and client specifications.
  • Plan, conduct and report internal audits, including scheduling, execution, reporting of findings and follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Support external and customer audits, including preparation of documentation, coordination of activities and closure of audit findings.
  • Coordinate and prepare Management Review inputs including KPIs, audit results, non-conformances, customer feedback and process performance.
  • Maintain controlled quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, forms and records in accordance with QMS requirements.
  • Ensure document control and configuration control of quality documentation, drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor quality KPIs and support reporting for management review and performance tracking.
  • Track and follow up on corrective actions (internal audits, external audits, customer issues) to ensure timely closure and effectiveness.
  • Support development and standardization of processes across departments to ensure compliance with QMS requirements.
  • Support training of personnel on QMS processes, procedures and quality requirements.
  • Ensure quality records are complete, accurate and maintained in applicable systems (IFS, Q-Pulse or equivalent).
  • Act as QMS focal point in Canada for all matters related to procedures, documentation and compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
