About The Position

The QMHP/Clinical Support Specialist works as part of CK Behavioral Health, providing direct services to children, youth, and their parents or caregivers. The role uses nationally recognized, evidence-based and research-supported practices to increase well-being, build skills, enhance stability, and promote positive outcomes. Services are provided in person at the location listed in the job posting. Program leadership provides training and ongoing coaching to support Clinical Support Specialists in becoming certified as Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs). The position also requires accurate documentation and adherence to established protocols, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field specified in the Texas Administrative Code for QMHP qualifications.
Basic therapeutic skills.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational skills.
Experience and training working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
Experience and training working with children with severe emotional disturbances.
Ability to be self-disciplined, thorough, well-coordinated, and persuasive, with a strong focus on accuracy.

Responsibilities
