About The Position

The QMHP/Clinical Support Specialist is part of CK Behavioral Health and reports to the Behavioral Health Supervisor. The role works directly with children, youth, and parents or caregivers, using nationally recognized, evidence-based and research-supported practices to promote well-being and positive outcomes. Program leadership provides training and ongoing coaching to support certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). The position also requires accurate documentation and adherence to established protocols, policies, and procedures. Services are provided in person at the posted location.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field as specified in the Texas Administrative Code for QMHP qualifications.
Basic therapeutic skills.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational skills.
Experience and training working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and children with severe emotional disturbances.
Ability to follow protocols, policies, and procedures accurately.

Responsibilities
