About The Position

This position encompasses the audit of all engines during various stages of the build process. The main responsibilities include auditing engines for compliance to the appropriate documentation; accurately recording all engine non-conformances in the AQE system and communicating found engine non-conformances to the appropriate person for repair. This person will work closely with all assembly personnel, support groups, and assembly management to meet product quality goals and objectives and will at times assist in quality functions outside of the audit process. This position will rotate throughout various quality gates in the assembly areas and will therefor require that the individual train in multiple areas.

Responsibilities

Auditing engines for compliance to the appropriate documentation.

Learning Caterpillar Systems and using them appropriately (MESA, AQE, etc.).
Inspecting engines using provided enhanced checklists to stop defects from moving forward.
