An Assembler at Royal enjoys working with their hands to put together components or parts, creating a finished product. This position is based out of the Quincy facility in Hudsonville and reports directly to the team supervisor. Current openings are for the 3rd Shift (12am-8am).

Requirements

• Ability to make rate (self paced)
• Completion of required production paperwork
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Effective communication (reporting on issues and shortages)
• Attention to detail
• Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks
• Minimal bending and stooping
• Ability to use fingers, hands and arms to complete a task (dexterity)
• Hand-eye coordination
• All employees must wear approved safety glasses
• Willing and able to work overtime
• Able to lift 35 lbs

Responsibilities

• Produces finished components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies
• Reading and comprehending work instructions
• Uses hand tools and machines to assemble
• Completes Quality control checks
• Labeling boxes
• Maintain a neat and organized work area by following 5S requirements
