About The Position

Fenix Parts, Inc. is hiring a QC Technician - Warehouse Worker to inspect parts and prepare outgoing orders to meet established standards for quality, appearance, and accuracy. The role combines quality control, refurbishment, shipping preparation, materials handling, and housekeeping duties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of related experience and/or training with heavy equipment to move vehicles or fragile objects, or equivalent.
Ability to lift 75 pounds.
Excellent close vision and depth perception, ability to see color, and ability to adjust focus.
Attention to detail.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Examine stock and brokered parts for wear and defects, comparing them with purchase orders, work orders, and other records to verify accuracy.
Record discrepancies in part descriptions, including damage not recorded on purchase or work orders, and work with internal resources to resolve issues.
Inspect parts’ appearance to confirm they meet company standards.
Refurbish parts as necessary to meet established appearance standards.
Pack, seal, and label materials for shipping using appropriate tags.
Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices to route materials.
Contact carrier representatives to arrange shipping or provide shipping and delivery instructions.
Move or route materials to staging areas using a hand truck, lift truck, forklift, or sorting bins.
Requisition and store quality-control and shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory.
Maintain housekeeping in the quality-control area.
