About The Position

The QC Tech conducts sampling and testing of hot mix asphalt to ensure it meets specifications. The role maintains accurate test records, promptly reports deviations, calibrates and operates testing equipment in accordance with quality standards, and collaborates with production teams to resolve quality issues. The position also supports continuous improvement initiatives related to asphalt quality and performance.

The role operates primarily in an outdoor environment that may include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. Successful candidates must complete a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check, and must meet company safety standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

• Familiarity with hot mix asphalt production and testing protocols.
• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
