About The Position

The QC Inspector inspects the quality of work performed at the site, documenting findings through visual and hands-on inspection and against regulatory standards. The role conducts in-service and final inspections of portable tank repairs and testing in a production environment, and checks completed portable tank preparations for loading. The inspector verifies that work meets or exceeds customer and regulatory standards, documents required rework, reports safety-related issues to the Supervisor, and directs employees to wear required PPE.

Requirements

• Two years of experience working in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of tank regulations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on inspections of the quality of work performed at the site.
• Document any rework that may need to be performed.
• Conduct in-service and final inspections of portable tank repairs and testing in a production environment.
• Inspect completed preparations of portable tanks for loading.
• Verify that inspections meet or exceed customer and regulatory standards.
• Watch for safety-related issues and report them to the Supervisor.
• Direct employees to wear the required PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
