About The Position
Inspect manufactured parts for dimensional and visual quality.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of blueprint reading
- Good arithmetic ability
- Good working knowledge of decimals and fractions
Responsibilities
- Assist group leader and class "A" or "B" inspectors with their daily duties
- Observe and learn proper use of gauges
- Clean and maintain tools and work area
- Documentation of serviceable or unserviceable products
- Inspect simple jobs unassisted, highly repetitive inspection following standardized procedures
- Visually inspect or checks parts using direct reading instruments
