About The Position

This position involves performing hydro tests on gas compressor components and ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of hydro equipment. The role requires adherence to safety procedures, company policies, and maintaining accurate records. The work environment can vary, including office, shop, and field settings, with potential exposure to adverse weather, industrial settings, and the need for physical labor.

Requirements

High school education (GED)
2-4 years experience in the field or in a related area.
Basic Computer skills, and/or other required software
Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within QC/Hydro department.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of pressure gauges, hydro pump and hydro chart recorder a plus
Understanding flange rating and pressures a plus

Responsibilities

Perform hydro tests on gas compressor components
Check hydro equipment to ensure that they are clean and in working order
Maintain detailed and accurate hydro charts
Ability to perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
Ability to assist in a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Must adhere to company policies and procedures
Performs other functions/duties as required.
