About The Position

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership, a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls, is a technology-driven manufacturer at the forefront of hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. Our innovative products support some of the world’s largest and most critical data centers. As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our manufacturing teams across the Edmonton region. This role is located at our facility in Nisku and you must have a reliable transportation to commute. This role will be offered to work Friday to Sunday Nightshift (6 PM - 5:30 AM).

Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation to commute.
  • Ability to work Friday to Sunday Nightshift (6 PM - 5:30 AM).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Commercial/Industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with safety policies and protective equipment.
  • Experience with long periods of standing.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

  • Create and Maintain QA/QC control documentation.
  • Document Control – organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos provided by inspectors.
  • Daily inspection of in process units: ensure sealing is completed, no missing parts, and all other in process inspections are of high quality.
  • Ensure productions are inspected as determined by company requirements, checking of paperwork.
  • Daily inspection of paperwork for all in process units and report any deficiencies to Quality Supervisor.
  • Complete sub assembly inspections such as: motor, coil, evap., furnace, and paint.
  • Complete unit final inspections.
  • Review inspection documents and make unit packages.
  • Report any observed safety issues to the Safety Coach or Safety Coordinator.
  • Assist with education of other inspectors and production team members.
  • Inspect drawings and marking/breaking work and ensure it is correct.
  • Assist marking with Engineering changes where drawings are not correct and submit to Quality Supervisor.
  • Inspect all aspect of units with the appropriate forms from the beginning to the end and record all discrepancies.
  • Organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.
  • Other duties as required.
