About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services. The QC Biochemist role involves working in a high throughput lab setting with repetitive tasks such as pipetting. Responsibilities include gaining cell biology skills such as cell counting and cell banking, and gaining experience with Cell based Bioassay methods and Cell Cultures. The role may require 24-hour cell coverage as necessary. The position is Monday-Friday, 8-5, with overtime as needed, and potential weekend/holiday work based on business needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Laboratory experience in GMP QC Laboratory environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
