About The Position

Conduct purification and analytical testing using large-scale laboratory equipment while supporting laboratory operations, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. The role includes protein purification, buffer preparation and formulation, column packing, tangential flow filtration (TFF), and sample management, including aliquot preparation. It also involves maintaining the lab through sample disposal, preparing equipment for maintenance, cleaning and storing equipment, ordering and tracking buffer inventory, and managing laboratory waste. This is a full-time position scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The work routinely involves hands-on use of large-scale laboratory equipment and materials, extended periods of standing, and physically demanding laboratory tasks. The employee must be able to lift, move, and handle materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in science or a related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience. Two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major.
Must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or need for sponsorship.
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external clients.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with a positive attitude.
Ability to learn new techniques, follow instructions, and maintain accurate records.
