Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in QA/QC within an industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office with strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain MSHA certification.

Nice To Haves

  • ISO 9001 certification and knowledge of quality systems such as Six Sigma and Lean.
  • Experience in the steel fabrication industry and familiarity with ANSI flange specifications.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee inspection of incoming and in-house manufactured parts using precision measurement tools.
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) including investigation, corrective actions, and rework to maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate SAP data including parts, BOMs, and routings.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and review quality records such as ITPs and conformance documents.
  • Participate in weekly production meetings to support production readiness.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production, and administrative teams to provide quality and technical input.
  • Frequent travel to customer sites to support quality assurance and planning activities.
