About The Position

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Superintendent to support a large-scale, mission-critical data center construction program in Northern Indiana. This role will be responsible for overseeing field quality control activities across all trades, ensuring that construction work is installed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, codes, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience in commercial or industrial construction and a detailed understanding of multi-trade coordination, installation standards, and inspection processes in fast-paced, high-complexity environments.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in construction QA/QC or field supervision roles
  • Strong background in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects
  • Experience working on multi-trade projects including MEP, structural, and interior systems
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and installation standards
  • Experience managing quality inspections and documentation processes
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in data center, healthcare, manufacturing, or large infrastructure projects preferred
  • CQM (Construction Quality Management) certification or similar is a plus
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Experience in data center construction environments is highly desirable
  • Highly detail-oriented field leader who can ensure consistent quality execution across a complex, multi-trade data center project.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and confident enforcing quality standards while maintaining strong collaboration with field and project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field-level QA/QC activities across all construction scopes
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship, installation quality, and compliance with project requirements
  • Coordinate with superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors to address quality issues in real time
  • Track and manage punch lists, deficiencies, and corrective actions through to closure
  • Ensure proper installation methods are followed across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP systems
  • Support pre-installation meetings, mock-ups, and material inspections
  • Maintain detailed quality documentation including inspection reports, checklists, and daily logs
  • Verify that installations align with approved submittals, shop drawings, and specifications
  • Work closely with commissioning teams to ensure systems are installed correctly and ready for testing
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce adherence to QA/QC requirements
  • Support coordination between field execution and quality assurance standards
  • Promote a strong culture of quality and accountability across all trades on site
