The QA Technician's purpose is to assure food safety through HACCP compliance monitoring, implementing corrective actions and reporting of deviations to the QA Manager. This role involves documenting test results, communicating deviations, reviewing data for product testing trends, conducting product and process capability studies, and performing various QA tasks such as sampling, line monitoring, auditing, and lab testing to ensure compliance with specifications. The technician will also coordinate lab operations, analyze data for process improvements, audit laboratory testing methods, review and approve deviations and corrective actions, and investigate root causes of defects. Maintaining a quality culture, a clean work area, and adequate supply inventory are also key aspects of this position. The role requires understanding of Acidified Foods and compliance with federal guidelines.
