Always moving forward! > IN THE NEWS The QA Technician is responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards throughout the production process. This role involves testing, inspecting, and auditing products and processes to ensure they comply with regulatory standards, customer requirements, and industry best practices. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with documentation and record-keeping standards, as well as reporting the outcomes of quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Data entry accuracy and keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work in a group setting with fellow associates
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Proven track record of excellent attendance
  • Ability to read blueprints and match color and print standards

Responsibilities

  • Follow established safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Foster awareness of quality standards and objectives
  • Support the interpretation of work orders and technical drawings
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant specifications
  • Conduct in-process inspections of products
  • Contain and address non-conforming products
  • Inspect and determine the disposition of non-conforming products
  • Maintain accurate records of quality activities
  • Inspection and testing of raw materials
  • FG brokered part inspection to print
  • Analyze and interpret test results
  • Monitor and analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) data
  • Assist in training new employees
  • Provide auto-tech training to qualified team members
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Support the implementation of new or updated procedures
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Ensure the implementation of customer requirements
  • Provide break relief for associates, as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
