QA Technician

Requirements
- 2-3 years in manufacturing, preferably in the food industry, with experience in Quality Assurance and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong problem solver
Nice To Haves
- PCQI (Preventive Controls for Human Food) certification
- Bilingual in English & Spanish
Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and validate production documentation, ensuring everything is in top shape
- Collaborate with the team to enhance processes and maintain high-quality standards
- Oversee inspections, audits, and compliance programs, from metal detector checks to pest control monitoring
- Help educate employees on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and sanitation processes
- Identify non-conformities and develop solutions that improve quality and customer satisfaction
- Work closely with the Quality Manager to update procedures and support new initiatives
