About The Position
This role is for a 3rd Shift QA Technician at Dieffenbach's, a snack company that prioritizes quality. Requirements
- Ability to work on your feet in an active, warm, and sometimes noisy environment.
- Comfort working near machinery, high temperatures, and oily surfaces.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to keep up the pace during 12-hour shifts.
- Strong communication skills.
- A positive, "can-do" attitude.
- A commitment to doing things the right way.
- Ability to work the 3rd shift (Monday-Friday 10:50pm-7:00am).
- Willingness to train on the day shift with a gradual transition to the second shift.
- Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities
- Taste potatoes, chips, oil, and packaging to assess quality.
- Check salt and seasoning levels for optimal flavor.
- Inspect product attributes such as color, crunch, moisture, and weight.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and work areas.
- Identify and separate products that do not meet standards and assist in determining the cause.
- Utilize tools like metal detectors, swabs, and oxygen meters to verify quality standards.
- Record all findings clearly and neatly.
- Communicate with operators and leaders regarding necessary adjustments or fixes.
- Assist with training and special sample preparation when needed.
