About The Position

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Supervisor to serve as the quality authority for structured cabling and low‑voltage projects across data center, commercial, and AV environments. This role is focused entirely on auditing, compliance, and quality oversight—not installation work. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to evaluate work objectively while partnering with field teams to uphold high standards.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of QA/QC experience in structured cabling or low‑voltage systems.
  • Proven experience auditing completed installations (not performing installs).
  • Strong understanding of structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber).
  • Knowledge of low‑voltage telecom infrastructure, ISP/OSP practices, and installation standards.
  • Ability to evaluate work objectively and enforce standards professionally.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Independent, self‑directed, and adaptable across different project types.

Responsibilities

  • Perform formal QA/QC audits on active and completed projects.
  • Inspect telecom and low‑voltage installations for proper labeling, testing, documentation, and adherence to standards.
  • Audit work against company, industry, manufacturer, and code requirements.
  • Identify non‑conformities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate, organized records of all inspections and follow‑ups.
  • Report deviations from quality standards to QA/QC leadership and site supervisors.
  • Prepare clear audit reports with corrective actions and recommendations.
  • Partner with field leadership to develop and track corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA).
  • Conduct follow‑up audits to verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend long‑term quality improvements.
  • Support the development and refinement of QA/QC processes, checklists, and standards.
  • Participate in onboarding, joint site walkthroughs, and field coaching.
  • Stay current on industry changes, manufacturer updates, and code revisions.
  • Maintain a strong, professional presence across project sites.
