About The Position

Perform QAQC on Site Specific Traffic Control Plans, Caltrans permitting utility exhibits and the additional supporting engineered justification documents such as Design Standard Decision Document and Encroachment Policy Exception for proposed utility work requiring Caltrans permitting. Seeking someone with experience and knowledge of traffic control, CADOT, Caltrans permitting requirements, very detail oriented, organized, with overall understanding and background of construction and utility work. Hybrid- Northern/Central CA Preferred (PG&E Territory) Hybrid – about 10% travel for possible meetings, no expectation for days in office. In this role, you are enabled to be at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and utilizing tools such as, Microsoft Copilot, bespoke AI workflow tools, and an IT team dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation to enhance our operations and drive efficiency. All employees can engage with the Digital Transformation Team to support the integration of new tools and following employee ideas to drive success for the business.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in utility engineering field
Project Coordination
Analysis
Drafting
Engineering design background
Experience in gas and electric utilities
Knowledge of TCPs (CADOT)
Very detail oriented
Organized
Overall understanding and background of construction and utility work
