QA/QC Analyst, PMO
About The Position
This role involves performing Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) on site-specific traffic control plans, Caltrans permitting, utility exhibits, and supporting engineered justification documents. These documents include the Design Standard Decision Document and Encroachment Policy Exception for proposed utility work requiring Caltrans permitting. The position is hybrid, with a preference for Northern/Central CA (PG&E Territory), requiring approximately 10% travel for meetings and no set days in the office. The role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) using tools like Microsoft Copilot and bespoke AI workflow tools, supported by an IT team dedicated to innovation. Employees can engage with the Digital Transformation Team to support new tool integration and implement employee ideas for business success.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in utility engineering field, Project Coordination, Analysis, Drafting
- Engineering design background
- Experience in gas and electric utilities
- Knowledge of TCPs (CADOT)
- Very detail oriented
- Organized
- Overall understanding and background of construction and utility work
Nice To Haves
- Caltrans permitting experience or knowledge
- Construction background
- SAP, Excel, Salesforce, Microsoft Platforms, etc.
