About The Position

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for establishing, operating, maintaining, and improving the quality management system. This role ensures quality is integrated into all aspects of operations, including the publication and maintenance of the Quality Manual. The manager will collect and analyze objective quality evidence, produce reports demonstrating system goals and continuous improvement, and provide oversight of quality management system operations. They will also manage the Internal Quality Audit Program, handle correspondence with suppliers regarding quality issues, and ensure personnel are trained in process control techniques and inspections. Additionally, the role involves conducting quality control checks, inspections, and final product inspections, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and ISO quality management system requirements, and acting as the Management Representative for all AS9100 and ISO related matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent RF Microwave industry work experience.
  • Knowledgeable in industry drawing standards and Military Specifications.
  • Experience assessing customer specifications, statements of work.
  • Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
  • Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
  • Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
  • Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
  • Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters.
  • Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
  • Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks.
  • Writing technical and management systems reports.
  • Liaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications.
  • Establishing standards of service for customers.

  • Ensures compliance with AS9100 and ISO quality management system requirements.
  • Acts as the Management Representative for all AS9100 and ISO issues.
