About The Position

Wipro Limited is a technology services and consulting company focused on digital transformation. The QA Lead will bring hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and tools, automated testing, and backend API test automation. The role also involves working with CI/CD technologies, applying programming and database skills, and collaborating across Agile or Waterfall teams, including onsite/offshore coordination. The successful candidate will solve problems, communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and keep their knowledge current.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience.
• Mandatory skill: Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium and TestNG.
• Strong experience with automated testing.
• Hands-on backend test automation using Rest Assured or Karate for API testing.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java or Python.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL is preferred; ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Experience working in onsite/offshore coordination models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-oriented environments.
• Keeps current with changes in their area and seeks learning opportunities.
