About The Position

Responsible for food safety, food quality and site safety. This role involves monitoring plant operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and proper labeling, and addressing quality issues. The QA Inspector will also be responsible for reviewing hold product, attending meetings, communicating issues to the quality manager, and assisting supervisors and lab technicians with quality-related matters. A key part of the role is ensuring all startups meet target specifications and documenting any tooling issues that impact quality or production goals.

Requirements

• Experience with SQL mold maintenance program.
• Ability to communicate effectively with quality manager, supervisors, and lab techs.
• Understanding of food safety and food quality standards.
• Knowledge of production schedules and labeling procedures.
• Ability to identify line clearance issues.
• Familiarity with sorting and grinding processes for hold ware.
• Skills in ensuring startups meet target specifications.

Responsibilities

• Deal with any issues that need immediate attention with priority given to the containment of any suspect product.
• Review schedule and tour the floor assuring all machines are following schedule and proper labeling is being performed. Must also look for line clearance issues.
• Review hold ware and bring to production what can be sorted or ground.
• Attend any scheduling meetings.
• Communicate all daily issues with the quality manager.
• Work with all supervisors in assisting them with any quality issues and/or quality technician issues.
• Assure all start-ups meet target specs and/or are within spec after exhausting all efforts to reach target.
• Reporting in SQL mold maintenance program all issues with tooling that is causing quality issues or our goal of reaching target specs.
• Before leaving for the day, go over with supervisor and lab techs all pending issues and review communication documentation.
