About The Position

North American Stamping Group (NASG) is seeking an EPC (early product containment) associate for their Quality Department in Woodstock, ON. This position involves inspecting stamped, welded, and assembled products according to quality documentation and work instructions. The role requires performing visual and gage inspections, sorting and reworking contained products, and maintaining inspection documentation. The associate will also be responsible for 5S work area organization, adhering to health and safety regulations, and communicating effectively with the Production and Quality teams. The position rotates between day shift (7 am-3:30 pm) and afternoon shift (3:10 pm-11:40 pm) every two weeks. Overtime is required.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
1-3 years previous manufacturing experience
Fundamental understanding of Quality Documentation and In-Process Inspection
Knowledge of gage use
Will have the ability to work a schedule that allows completion of the job on a daily basis.
Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to understand and follow written work instructions for gage use and part inspection
Able to lift up to 35lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basis.

Responsibilities

Perform EPC (early product containment) for new launch parts
Inspect stamped / welded / assembled product to standards defined in Quality Documentation and work instructions
Sort / inspect / rework contained product to established work instructions
Completion of visual and gage inspections
Completion of associated inspection documentation
Maintain records of audits, open communication between Production & Quality and overall professional behavior as a member of the Quality team
5S Work area organization adherence and improvement
Follow all health and safety regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Ability to work overtime is required
