QA Datacenter Lead Technician - L2
About The Position
Our client is a global technology services provider supporting large-scale data center operations and infrastructure projects. The local team supports fiber infrastructure upgrades and deployments, fiber network operations and ticket remediation, and data center expansion projects such as rack installations, infrastructure deployments, and other construction and technology build activities. These environments average 13–16 project builds per month. The Senior Data Center QA Technician Level 2 oversees and validates the quality of infrastructure deployments and project work within assigned facilities. As the primary Quality Assurance resource for a designated market, this person ensures installations, builds, and operational activities meet established standards, documentation requirements, and customer expectations. Local travel to various data centers is required; a market may include as many as four data centers. This is a contract role based onsite in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Requirements
- Data center experience and background.
- Experience with quality assurance work.
- Knowledge of fiber infrastructure.
- Experience with rack and stack, cabling, support, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and validate the quality of infrastructure deployments and project work within assigned data center facilities.
- Serve as the primary Quality Assurance resource for the designated market.
- Ensure installations, builds, and operational activities meet established standards, documentation requirements, and customer expectations.
- Travel locally to various data centers.
