About The Position

The QA Auditor focuses on quality assurance for returns and outgoing orders. The role involves inspecting products for accuracy and defects, completing inspection forms, and updating information in the system when applicable. The employee must be flexible as company needs change, and cross-training, computer skills, and time-management skills are essential. This is a full-time, non-exempt position scheduled Monday through Friday from 1:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to inspect products accurately and effectively analyze defective pieces.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work cooperatively, collaboratively, and independently.
Ability to remain calm and patient in potentially stressful situations.
Maintain an appropriate attitude and behavior and a positive outlook.
Act in accordance with company policies.
Good attendance is required.
Ability to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift.
Ability to frequently grasp, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle items with hands and arms, up to 50 pounds.
Moderate hand-eye coordination, near and far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and hearing.

Responsibilities

Verify that the item and color match the item and color shown on the Final Layout.
Confirm that the imprint is positioned as shown on the Final Layout.
Check that imprints are straight, clear, and legible.
Verify that imprint colors match the Final Layout and the PMS Book, when applicable.
Perform initial inspections of inventory and sample products according to AQL.
Complete inspection forms.
Identify defective product issues in returned merchandise.
Provide accurate reports and update information in the system when applicable.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
