About The Position
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of Jesta's cloud-based ERP platform by designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies across manual and automated testing. You'll work closely with Product, Development, and Customer Support teams to validate new functionality, reduce release risk, and continuously improve our quality practices. This position is ideal for an Intermediate or Senior QA professional who enjoys owning testing initiatives, contributing to automation, mentoring teammates, and driving quality improvements across complex enterprise applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3–5+ years of QA experience testing enterprise or business applications (Intermediate level)
- QA experience with demonstrated technical leadership or ownership of testing initiatives (Senior level)
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and QA best practices
- Experience testing web-based or cloud applications
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining manual and automated test cases
- Experience contributing to or maintaining test automation frameworks
- Experience testing ERP, retail, supply chain, or warehouse management systems, particularly within Financial, Merchandise Management, Planning, or Warehouse Management System (WMS) modules, is strongly preferred
- Experience working within Agile environments and CI/CD pipelines is an asset
- Test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG
- SQL for test validation (Oracle preferred)
- Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence
- Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Experience with CI/CD testing tools
- Familiarity with enterprise ERP platforms
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, documentation, and testing activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in both manual and automated software testing
- Ability to assess and validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and quality
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across QA, Product, Development, and Customer Support teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven approach to quality using testing metrics and insights
- Continuous learning mindset and commitment to process improvement

- QA certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent) are considered an asset

Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, regression suites, and test scripts across manual and automated testing
- Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and release testing across multiple ERP modules, with a primary focus on Financial, Merchandise Management, Planning, and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Analyze business and functional requirements to identify risks, edge cases, and data-related defects
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects throughout the defect lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and Customer Support teams to ensure complete test coverage and release readiness
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks to improve quality, efficiency, and test coverage
- Support CI/CD testing integration and automation initiatives
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend product and process improvements
- Define, maintain, and continuously improve QA processes, standards, and testing methodologies
- Establish and monitor quality metrics, dashboards, and testing progress
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics clearly with cross-functional stakeholders
- Partner with Development and Product teams to improve release quality and mitigate delivery risks
- Mentor junior QA team members and support sprint-level QA coordination
- At the senior level, contribute to QA strategy, automation leadership, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple product areas
- Stay current with emerging testing methodologies, automation tools, AI-assisted testing practices, and enterprise QA trends
