At Prometeo, we solve and automate access to banking data, bank account validation, and account-to-account payment initiation. Role Description: As a Junior QA Analyst, you will be a key player in ensuring the excellence, stability, and correct functioning of our platform. Your role will have a hybrid focus, validating both the robustness and consistency of our integration APIs and the business logic in our visual interfaces (Dashboards). You will primarily work on our business's strategic focuses: payment processing, compliance, and bank account/identity validation flows. We are looking for a profile with a solid foundation in functional testing and a strong motivation and initiative to transition towards process automation.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of processes, classic tools, and the traditional QA lifecycle.
  • Technical understanding of service architecture and API testing (practical or theoretical experience using tools like Postman, Hoppscotch, or similar).
  • Ability to break down complex business flows (such as reconciliation logic, payment statuses, and security validations) into logical test cases.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for drafting clear technical documentation and detailed error reports.
  • Ability and willingness to work collaboratively in dynamic environments under agile frameworks like SCRUM.
  • Over 1 year of experience in QA or software development roles, ideally within the Fintech, Payment Processing, or SaaS platforms sector.
  • Familiarity or daily use of AI tools applied to testing acceleration, intelligent test case design, or basic script generation.
  • Basic Git management (essential operations like clone, branch management, commits, and pull requests).

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Quality Assurance: Design, execute, and maintain test cases for both visual interfaces (Dashboards) and backend flows (APIs).
  • Test Case Design: Analyze product requirements in depth, propose early corrective improvements, and clearly and structurally document test scenarios.
  • Complete Testing Cycle: Execute key functional tests (Regression, Smoke, End-to-End, Exploratory Testing, etc.) rigorously focused on payment logic, validations, and regulatory flows.
  • Defect Management and Reporting: Detect, report, and track bugs in the early stages of the development cycle, effectively and technically communicating results to the development team.
  • Evolution towards Automation: Actively collaborate with the Quality team to achieve a gradual transition from manual testing to product ecosystem automation.
