About The Position
Tempo is seeking an experienced QA engineer to join their team working on the flagship product, Structure for Jira. The team operates in an agile environment, prioritizing working software and focusing on challenges such as extensive compatibility testing across browsers, Jira, Confluence, and other plugins, maintaining quality at speed, and daily prioritization and exploration. The company emphasizes a shared responsibility for product quality, with developers contributing unit and integration tests and performing code reviews.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in testing
- Solid experience in planning and executing manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Experience in creating checklists
- Web application testing experience
- Testing of business logic, usability, and UI
- Understanding the difference between GET and POST requests
- Basic XSS knowledge
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
Nice To Haves
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with Jira administration
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
- Experience with mind maps
- Experience with performance testing
- Experience with security testing
Responsibilities
- Plan testing activities, participate in an iteration, and release planning
- Requirements testing, performance testing, compatibility, and integration testing on the system level
- Exploratory and scripted testing of all our products
- Triage of found issues
- Communicate with product managers, designers, software developers, other QA engineers, and technical writers
