About The Position

Work as part of a full-stack team supporting cloud-enabled signal generation, back-testing, data, and analytics platforms for investment management. Develop and maintain software using Python libraries and AWS services, build and support AWS architecture, and deploy applications to production. The role also develops front-end applications using React and Dash, designs secure APIs, and helps validate architectural patterns through proof-of-concept development. The developer collaborates in an Agile environment with business partners, product owners, and development teams, and contributes to department learning through technical talks. Code should be observable, resilient, and secure.

Requirements

• Experience developing and maintaining software with Python, including NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Dash, Dask, Flask, and Boto3.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, CloudWatch, ECS, SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, S3, Postgres, Glue ETL, and Athena.
• Experience building and supporting AWS architecture, serverless and microservices solutions, and production deployments.
• Experience designing secure APIs and implementing API Gateway.
• Experience developing front-end web applications using React and Dash.
• Experience with session management and authentication using Okta.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with caching and data management in AWS.
• Exposure to the investment domain, especially equities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using Python libraries and AWS services.
• Build and support AWS architecture, implement serverless and microservices solutions, and deploy applications to production.
• Design and develop secure APIs and implement API Gateway.
• Develop front-end web applications using React and Dash, manage sessions and Okta authentication, and host solutions in AWS.
• Participate in proof-of-concept development to validate architectural patterns.
• Engage in Agile development with business partners, product owners, and development teams.
• Facilitate and participate in technical talks to promote adoption of cloud technologies.
• Ensure code quality is observable, resilient, and secure.
• Optimize data architecture and pipelines.
