About The Position

The Python Full Stack Engineer contributes to the Threat Ops team's roadmap by building and maintaining customer-facing features for its unified Threat Ops portal. The role works across a React front end and Python back end, including moving existing onboarding and request forms into the platform's product catalog and exposing platform capabilities through the team's Threat Ops MCP standard to support natural-language access through AI assistants. The engineer also contributes to the Threat Ops Defect Hub, replacing a Slack-based publishing workflow with a templated process for creating, risk-scoring, validating, and submitting reports, integrated with Jira. Additional work includes supporting dashboards and metrics that surface posture data from existing sources, participating in code reviews, resolving defects, and assisting with deployment and maintenance. The role collaborates with TRE engineers and Threat Ops stakeholders to deliver well-scoped improvements with minimal ramp-up time. This is a hybrid position in San Diego, California, or Mountain View, with work expected in the office three days per week. The stated duration is six or more months, with a possibility of extension. The hourly pay rate is $80–$85, depending on experience.
