About The Position

As a Technology Consultant 2 in Infosys Financial Services, you will contribute to software development for financial institutions and participate across the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation and support. You will help document business requirements, facilitate application design discussions and record design decisions, develop and integrate features, maintain code repositories, review code, and implement testing strategies. The role also includes coordinating bug fixes, supporting software transitions through training and documentation, resolving production issues, recommending preventive measures, and maintaining records of code, testing, and support activities. You will use Python and React JS to design and develop scalable web applications, build and maintain RESTful APIs, and create responsive user-facing components. The position calls for collaboration with cross-functional teams and practical participation in software integration. It may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location.

Requirements

Experience with Python.
Experience designing and developing scalable web applications using Python and React JS.
Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
Experience developing responsive UI components using React JS and JavaScript.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Strong SQL skills and exposure to at least one RDBMS: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Experience in Agentic AI.

Responsibilities

Document assigned portions of business requirements as part of requirements elicitation.
Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions.
Code and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while maintaining system stability.
Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold software quality standards.
Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for transitions to new software applications.
Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
Design and develop scalable web applications using Python and React JS.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components using React JS and JavaScript.
Work with cross-functional teams and participate in software integration.
