About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Python Full Stack Developer for a 12-month contract with a global financial institution in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves developing highly scalable applications using Core Python and web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. The position calls for experience with SQL, Azure environments, and financial and risk management domains. The role is hybrid. The pay rate is up to $79.20 per hour. Candidates must be available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees.

Requirements

• 8 years of prior experience as a developer using the required technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience working with SQL and the ability to run data analytics tasks and queries.
• Exposure to JavaScript technologies, preferably React.
• Scripting experience with Python, SQL, Bash, and PySpark.
• Experience or familiarity with frontend technologies including ReactJS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Azure technologies including Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Functions, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Event Grid, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Azure API Management, and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with databases including SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Delta Lake.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark, GitHub, Git, Azure DevOps, Power BI, REST APIs, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks Workflows.
• Candidates must be available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Azure Databricks, including PySpark, notebooks, repository integration, job workflows, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
• Exposure to Azure and interconnected components such as Functions, App Service, and Containers.
• Knowledge of the financial domain, particularly risk management.
