About The Position
Precoro is a Ukrainian product company that has spent 10 years developing its fintech product, helping companies optimize and automate procurement, reduce manual work, and control procurement activity across departments. More than 1,000 customers in over 80 countries use Precoro. The Python Developer will own Python logic across Reports, Imports, and Payments. This includes custom and preconfigured reports, exports, dashboard data, RFP reports, file-based imports and updates, the imports microservice, and Python functionality for Payments & Virtual Cards, including reports, microservices, imports, AI functionality, and integrations with Stripe, corporate cards, and payments. The role involves building and improving product functionality, optimizing imports and exports, maintaining integrations, writing maintainable code, and collaborating with the team on technical decisions.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of Python development experience.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, typing, and clean-code principles.
- Experience with background jobs and message queues, such as Celery, Redis, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Flask or similar frameworks.
- Practical SQL skills.
- Experience with REST APIs, Docker, and Git.
- Ability to work with an existing codebase, suggest improvements, and take responsibility for decisions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Basic understanding of PHP (Symfony).
Responsibilities
- Develop new functionality for the Reports, Imports, and Payments modules.
- Develop the imports microservice and optimize imports and exports.
- Maintain and develop integrations with Stripe.
- Write high-quality code that is easy to maintain and extend.
- Participate in technical discussions and work with the team to find effective solutions.
