Python Developer
About The Position
Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is hiring a Python Developer for a 06+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential. The position is located in Chicago, Illinois, and is hybrid. The developer will build and maintain applications using Python and AWS cloud services, implement CI/CD pipelines, use Infrastructure as Code practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions. The role also involves working with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Fargate, and contributing to software quality through peer reviews and testing. The pay range is $70–$75 per hour. The client is in the banking and financial industry.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Python development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Fargate.
- Proficiency in Jenkins and Docker.
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Familiarity with Groovy.
Responsibilities
