About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Python Automation Developer in Boston, Massachusetts. Automation contractors will add development capacity to help the Automation team address its existing backlog and support new requests. The work focuses on near-term, well-defined automation projects while internal team members continue to handle more complex, longer-term strategic efforts. The role includes developing and maintaining automations, supporting them in production, and collaborating with business partners and technical teams.

Requirements

• Strong Python experience, preferably focused on process and workflow automation.
• Experience working with APIs and integrating with other applications and data sources.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases.
• Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or similar source control tools.
• Experience building and supporting solutions in a production environment.
• Understanding of testing, logging, validation, exception handling, and development best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work through technical and business process issues.
• Ability to work effectively with business partners and technical teams.
• Comfort working in an Agile environment and managing multiple pieces of work.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AI-enabled automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new automations based on prioritized business needs.
• Automate manual and repetitive processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Enhance and update existing automations as business processes and requirements change.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing automations.
• Test solutions and incorporate appropriate validations, logging, exception handling, and other controls.
• Work with business partners to understand requirements, test solutions, and support implementation.
• Maintain documentation and transfer knowledge to internal team members to support ongoing ownership.
