About The Position

This position is part of the Power Generation Division, responsible for NextEra Energy's non-nuclear generation operations, exceeding 40,000 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity. The role is based at the Weirs Creek Solar facility in the Webster, KY area. The employee will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar PV collection assemblies, battery energy storage, and AC/DC inverters across multiple solar power plants to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operations. This includes maintaining tools, shops, vehicles, and work locations in a safe and efficient condition, performing inspections for fluid system breaches, mechanical component issues, and electrical component failures that prevent inverters from producing grid power. The candidate will also support teammates in nearby states within the region, ensuring reliability, operations, and maintenance for assigned sites.

Requirements

• High School Grad / GED
• 1+ years of experience
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

Nice To Haves
