About The Position

This fully remote, worldwide freelance/contract consulting opportunity is for experienced competitive programmers and algorithmic problem solvers. The role contributes programming and problem-solving expertise to advanced AI training and evaluation initiatives. Work includes solving challenging coding puzzles, analysing unfamiliar technical environments, developing efficient algorithms, debugging software, and validating reproducible solutions. Assignments support improvements to AI systems’ accuracy, reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities. The work spans competitive programming, computational reasoning, software development and debugging, constraint analysis, and structured technical evaluation. Professionals create and test reference solutions, review AI-generated code and explanations, assess correctness and complexity, and provide structured technical feedback. Assignments are paid per completed task that meets project specifications; the advertised rate is $60–$120 per hour, and expected commitment is approximately 15 hours per week. The schedule is flexible, including the option to choose workdays and hours, including weekends. There are 100 openings. Selected professionals should be prepared to begin their first assignment within 24–48 hours after onboarding. Selection may include screening questions, an approximately 30-minute AI interview, and a hiring manager review. Work must not use confidential or proprietary information belonging to an employer, client, institution, or other third party. The opportunity is available through 24-MAG LLC, which connects experienced professionals with remote consulting opportunities across technical, evaluation, and project-based workstreams.
