About The Position

We are supporting a federal client focused on strengthening data protection and governance across critical systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring sensitive data is properly classified, managed, and secured using Microsoft Purview.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of Microsoft Purview or Azure Purview experience
• Background in data governance and data analysis
• Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder communication skills
• Security+ certification
• US Citizenship and ability to pass a high-risk Public Trust
• Ability to work onsite in DMV area 2 to 3 days per week

Nice To Haves

• Data mapping or data architecture experience
• Agile environment experience
• Experience supporting federal clients

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of Microsoft Purview Information Protection solutions
• Analyze and improve data governance and protection processes
• Gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions
• Assist with data classification, mapping, and compliance initiatives
• Provide technical input during project delivery and change requests
• Participate in client and internal discussions to guide decisions
