Pursuit & Proposal Specialist

Arcadis•Charlotte, NC
•$70,000 - $102,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Pursuit & Proposal Specialist to join its US Mobility Winning Pursuits team. The specialist partners with client teams to coordinate capture planning, strategy, and pursuit and proposal activities. This is not a typical proposal writing, production, or coordination role; it spans the full pursuit process, from positioning and capture planning through post-submittal debriefing, supporting client teams in winning work in the Midwest transportation market. The role participates throughout the pursuit and proposal lifecycle, helping develop and implement strategy, client and pursuit plans, and business development efforts. Its primary geographic focus is the Southeast—particularly North Carolina, South Carolina, and Mississippi—and the Midwest—particularly Ohio—serving select transportation, county, and municipal clients. Knowledge of local transportation markets, competitors, and state DOT prequalification, procurement, and proposal processes is strongly preferred. The preferred location is in or near North Carolina or South Carolina in the Eastern time zone, though hybrid flexibility and other locations may be considered based on qualifications and experience. The specialist develops and implements capture plans and win strategies; conducts market, client, project, and competitor research; leads proposal development and interview preparation; and supports pipeline, regional project and staff resume data, and marketing activities. The role requires at least five years of A/E/C industry experience in marketing, pursuits, proposals, or business development. A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience is required.
