About The Position
Join Our Team as a Purchasing Support Specialist! Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to grow your career in purchasing and inventory support? We’re looking for a Purchasing Support Specialist to help support daily purchasing operations, manage inventory flow, and communicate with suppliers and internal teams in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to work Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (OT possible during peak seasons). Grow with Gertens today!
Requirements
- Strong Excel and computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0–1 years of related experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- related education preferred
- Experience with Epicor Eagle Software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Track incoming products and resolve delivery discrepancies.
- Review and correct invoice, freight, return, and credit issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment needs.
- Create purchase orders and inventory transfers.
- Communicate with suppliers, shipping teams, and sales staff regarding orders and special requests.
- Support Buyers with purchasing and expediting activities.
- Maintain accurate pricing and purchasing records.
- Assist with additional projects and duties as assigned.
