Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members
  • Citizen of the United States, or
  • Permanent resident alien of the United States, or
  • Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, outside services, tools, parts and supplies for the organization performing the following duties.
  • Review and convert requisitions
  • Responsible for internal & external supply chain
  • Confer with vendors to obtain products or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
  • Ensure the Key Performance Indicators of Inventory are met
  • Process Owner of Supply Chain Analytics module, manage inventory and to provide timely feedback to shop floor on discrepancies
  • Set, monitor, and maintain appropriate safety stock levels
  • Perform analysis as required to improve operational efficiency of Supply Chain Processes
  • Develop supplier report cards, ranking system and supplier feedback and maintain on a continuous basis
  • Represent the supply chain function in all external standard suppliers or customer audits
  • Interface with accounting on invoice discrepancies
  • Create & maintain Supply Chain Procedures
  • Routinely negotiate pricing, supplier agreements/contracts and other legal documents
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned or required
