About The Position

Purchasing Specialist (Inventory & Operations) Chantilly, VA (On-Site – 5 Days/Week, Monday–Friday) About Mosaic Mosaic is a growing interiors distributor supporting builders and designers with cabinetry, tile, lighting, plumbing, and more. With 9 locations and a central servicing center, our success depends on strong purchasing, accurate inventory, and reliable supplier partnerships. This is a fully on-site role based in Chantilly, VA, requiring in-office attendance five days per week.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, inventory, or operations
• Experience in a distribution, wholesale, or inventory-driven environment preferred
• ERP system experience (Prophet 21 a plus)
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization

Responsibilities

• Review and release purchase orders for accuracy and timing
• Track open orders and follow up with suppliers
• Coordinate inbound shipments, including truckload orders
• Maintain accurate costs and pricing in the ERP system
• Monitor inventory levels and support purchasing decisions
