About The Position

Victory Live is a private equity backed technology company aimed at maximizing distribution and yield for live event ticket inventory. We provide an end-to-end software platform for the live ticketing industry, managing thousands of sports, theater, and live music event tickets on behalf of artists, promoters, teams, venues, and professional resellers. Victory Live’s comprehensive offerings include an established B2B marketplace along with both a full-service and an automated SaaS platform to handle all elements of the ticket sales lifecycle, from ingestion to sales fulfillment.

The Purchasing Operations Supervisor will oversee key aspects of ticket fulfillment, order recovery, and supply chain logistics. This role will supervise Fulfillment and Order Recovery team members, ensuring orders are completed accurately and issues are resolved quickly.
The Supervisor will also oversee the sourcing and purchasing of replacement inventory for at-risk orders, using sound judgment to balance cost, customer impact, and successful order completion. Diligence, accuracy, and the ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment are critical to success in this role.

Requirements

• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, fulfillment, ticketing operations, or a related environment
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong judgment with the ability to make purchasing decisions while balancing cost, urgency, and customer impact
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and high-impact situations effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify problems, root causes, and potential solutions
• Flexible and reliable team player with a commitment to confidentiality and discretion
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of primary and secondary ticket markets
• Proficiency with ticketing systems, inventory management, point-of-sale platforms, and/or third-party ticketing software
• Experience sourcing or purchasing inventory in a ticketing, e-commerce, or other transaction-based environment
• Experience with order recovery, exception management, or similar operational functions

Responsibilities

• Oversee fulfillment processes across 14+ marketplaces to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Supervise, coach, and support Fulfillment and Order Recovery team members, including training, workload distribution, and performance accountability
• Oversee the recovery of failed or at-risk orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution
• Source and approve replacement ticket purchases based on inventory availability, pricing, customer impact, and financial exposure
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or high-impact fulfillment and order recovery issues
• Monitor purchasing and recovery activity to identify trends, control costs, and improve outcomes
• Develop, improve, and document workflows across fulfillment, purchasing, and order recovery
• Maintain relationships with technology partners and ensure timely resolution of system issues
• Collaborate with leadership on operational initiatives and cross-functional projects
