About The Position

The Purchasing Manager improves procurement processes and oversees a complex supply chain for custom-engineered fire apparatus manufacturing. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, and other teams to ensure materials and services are available on time, at the right cost, and at the required quality. The position manages procurement activities including work orders, lead times, cost-reduction initiatives, inventory management, and supplier oversight. It is accountable for key performance indicators related to inventory and vendor performance and ensures compliance with regulations, company procedures, and industry standards for purchased products. The role also focuses on process improvement and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities
